Camilla Plumb's success at GB Trials 1st Assessment
In addition to the club's achievements at BUCS Indoors at Loughborough this weekend there was also huge success for Leicester student and sculler Camilla Plumb at the GB trials first assessment in Boston. Saturday saw Camilla pull a big PB in her 2km ergo test, in a time of 7:30.8, qualifying her for Sunday’s time trial on the water. The 5km trial on Sunday saw another impressive performance from Camilla as she finished as the 7th fastest U23 rower in the Lightweight Women’s 1x and 12th overall in a time of 20:24.06. These excellent results mean Camilla will be invited to the next round of trials in February, and hopefully to the GB training camp in December! We look forward to seeing Camilla's progress throughout the season.
