Fees and Funding
As a club, we strive to provide financial transparency for our members. As students, we recognise that financial constraints can often limit student participation in sports, we are dedicated to minimizing any unforeseen costs and providing a clear understanding of financial obligations. By doing so, we empower our members to make informed decisions about their financial resources, ensuring they can fully enjoy and engage in the club without financial barriers standing in their way.

Membership
Club
To join the club, you are required to pay a membership fee, the value of which depends on your membership level. Various breakdowns of fees such as monthly or termly are available to spread the total costs.
Team Leicester
In order to train and race in our boats, use our facilities and access our equipment you must hold a Team Leicester membership.

British Rowing
To race outside of BUCS and Varsity, you will require a British Rowing RACE membership. For students, the annual fee is

Entry Fees
Entry fees for each seat in a race boat vary from around £8-£15 on average, depending on the race.
Race Fees (LRC)
As a contribution to fuel for their trailer, LRC require £5 from each person racing.

All-in-one
To compete for the university club you must wear our racing all-in-one, we loan out our all-in-ones per race but they are also available from several suppliers with varying costs

Throughout the year we hold several bulk kit orders, including club t-shirts, jumpers and wider training kit

For seniors racing as Leicester Rowing Club, their racing kit will also be required.
