We have two custom 2x/- aves (70-85kg), decorated in our classic green and red racing stripes, designed for the club in 2019.

A 2005 Empacher R86. Purchased from Oxford Brookes in 2017, this heavyweight 8+ has won Henley Royal Regatta.

Senior Men's 4+
A 2009 Vespoli 4+ (73-86.4kg) raced at, and won Henley Royal Regatta.

The newest member of the UoLBC fleet! Meet Teeny, a Wintech International 1x (75-85kg) purchased in April 2023.
"Phelan Hill"
Novice 8+
Named after our alumnus, Phelan Hill, a GB coxswain who most notably won gold at the Rio Olympics in 2016. This midweight Vespoli 8+ was dedicated to his years of service to the club.

A midweight Janousek 4+, purchased for the novice men's squad in 2017.

Novice Women's 4+
This Sims Genesis 4+ is known to our friends on the Soar as "The Spider". Named for the incredible timing and technique of our learn to row squads, the blade work and balance apparently resembles that of a confused spider. Other clubs clear the river when this bad boy leaves its rack.
"Mike Lindsay"
Novice 2x
Introducing Mike, the newest member of our novice squads. Akin to the Titanic, this robust Aylings 2x from the dawn of time appears to be unsinkable. Mike spends a lot of his time on the water making friends with bridges and banks as the novice squad learns to steer. He's also a big fan of a belly-up sunbathe in the Soar.

As full members of Leicester Rowing Club, our senior members also have access to all LRC boats, blades, gym and wider facilities. This includes many more singles, quads and coxless fours.
