Novice Squads
For the most competitive novices
After completing our learn to row course, we hold a few weeks trial period to select the most promising members of the novice squad to promote to the intermediate squad. After a competitive selection process, involving erg tests, water ability and commitment, your training will step up a notch. With additional water sessions each week, increased coaching, and a tailored strength & conditioning programme, you will become race ready very quickly.

Our intermediate squad members are given priority access to races, along with boat and blade selection during novice training sessions.
Fees
As a club, we strive to provide financial transparency for our members. As students, we recognise that financial constraints can often limit student participation in sports, we are dedicated to minimizing any unforeseen costs and providing a clear understanding of financial obligations. By doing so, we empower our members to make informed decisions about their financial resources, ensuring they can fully enjoy and engage in the club without financial barriers standing in their way.
